About HomSA
Since 2011
We started as a small postgraduate study group in 2011 meeting monthly in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are a group of qualified and registered homeopaths who come together to deepen the practice of homeopathy by sharing research and teachings of the latest in homeopathy. We are a non-profit group staffed by volunteers and motivated by a love for homeopathy to help humanity/people.
The HomSA Mission
Our aim is to improve our individual clinical practice by sharing our experiences, our knowledge and arranging for other experts share their expertise.
During COVID times we had to take the study group online, we have remained online and so our group has expanded to include homeopaths from across South Africa and a few internationally.
Meeting regularly, our structured learnings are registered with the Allied Health Professional Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) for CPD (continual professional development). Whilst most teaching is on the application and development of Systems homeopathy, we welcome teachings on the methods from other schools of homeopathy. We believe that there are many paths to our common destination of improved patient health, and respect them all. We also have a sub-group who conduct classical provings.
As a collective we follow the principals of lifelong learning by learning from one another and from our patients and their families; knowledge as commons; scientific rigour and ethical enquiry.
